Some women feel it is a bond made between the two. They feel that one look at their son/daughter will make them change their mind. Having a child is a very emotional thing. It is so unfair to a child when the mother and father cannot or do not get along.
It is really sad when (in most cases) the mother or father will use the child against each other or not let the child see the non-custodial parent because he/she did not come back the the custodial parent.

well if a man has no interest in a female...he shouldnt be sleeping with her at all to get her pregnant!!...but to answer your question females always think if they just did this or had that then the guy will stick around...females are willing to settle for what they can get for example: they think if they have a guys baby that he will have to come around for the next 18 years even if he doesnt want to...some times the female thinks that the man really does love her and that a baby will make the weak relationship stronger...there are a million reasons...some times men get the female pregnant but then decide to change their mind about it after its too late...guys and females are equally at fault anytime a female gets pregnant!!

In my opinion a woman knows that man will always be connected to that child. Well, some men. And they think a man will love them forever. Life does not work that way. Alot of women do not realize that if a man truly loves them a child completes the relationship and it does not glue it together.
