I went home sick last night from work, with a migraine. I am worse now than I was then. I am now vomiting and any kind of light is making my head hurt immensely. The problem is, I was sick last week, for something different, and had to stay home for two days. I understand that this a really bad way to start off a new job, but it's not my fault I'm sick. I've been at this job since September 21st. Will I be fired if I call in sick again today?

I am in bed in a dark room. It's called a laptop, wireless internet, and lowering the brightness on the screen.

I would be inclined to fire you, but call them and let them know that you know it looks bad, that you want to assure them that this is a freak occurrence, that you are very interested in staying with the company and would be glad to get a doctor's note and discuss the situation with your supervisor. If you show you understand the situation, they will be far less likely to think you are faking.

I recommend you look at your employee manual and follow your company's policies on sick leave. If you are following the right procedures to inform them of your illness, there is no reason for them to fire you. Of course, it always helps to be able to prove your illness by visiting a doctor and getting a note, then providing your boss or HR person with a copy of it. But I believe good communication is the determining factor - have you spoken with your supervisor about your migraines? If you're too sick right now, you might shoot your boss an e-mail just letting them know that you feel badly about missing so much work and hope to be back in the office tomorrow to make it up. This will show good faith on your part, that you really WANT to work but have just had bad luck with your health this month.

How sick are you? you are on the computer. you say that light is making your head hurt worse, so why aren't you in the bed in a dark room? If you are really sick, go to the doctor and get an excuse and take it back to your employer. Hopefully they will not fire you but they do have reason enough to let you go. employers now, can fire you for what ever reason they choose.

you should go to see a doctor, ask him or her write a note for you explain what's the problem with you, also tell him or her put down the days you need to take off in order to feel better.
If you able to get the doctor note, then you should be fine
feel better

you shouldn't. Call your employer and explain to him/her what is wrong and then get checked out by a doctor, so you can show your employer the doctor's note.
