a republican is the elephant and the democrat is the donkey. I alway remember it this way: an elephant(to me) is considered a luxury animal:doesn't do a lot of work, just eats and gets fat. A donkey, on the other hand, is a hard-worker, gets little respect and earns his keep. A republican sterotypically is rich,is interested in big businesses, while a democrat is underpaid, and ready to make change for the better(can you tell which party I'm supporting this election?)

Definition= parties which, appart from the name are the same and are controlled by the New World Order.
There are two main parties to help the illusion of freedom, that people can actually select 1 from 2 which itself isn´t freedom, but small offerings satisfy the sheeple
The President is selected not elected. After all who in thier right mind would vote for Bush the brainless.

I don't know the exact definitions, but most of these answers are only opinion, not fact. It is something you may want to study and you will probably then want to form you own opinion of what they are and what they mean you to individually. Each person is looking for someone to represent them, to stand for what you believe and your morals, so you should determine if that would be a democrat or a republican. To define it is going to be difficult, you should study it and make an informed judgment.

Republicans want people to do more and take care of more while Democrats want us to give money to the Government so the Government can do more and take care of more. So Dem pro-programs and Rep anti-programs. Also most Republicans want strong military and most Democrats don't think it important.

The Republicans, interestingly enough, used to be the Democrats, who originated as the Federalists. They were the followers of Alexander Hamilton, who argued with Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson's followers were called the Republicans, who became the Wigs, and then the current-day Democrats. I won't bore you with the details, but because their views were so different (my teacher refers to them as "apples and oranges"), President Washington created two political groups, because they always have different opinions, and they still fight to this day.
