That's considered "chatting". I received one also. I think the Y!A team filter is programmed for that today. Especially after the Halloween event. There are gonna be a lot of questions relating to that.
Or, someone's out reporting just out of spite and meaness.

Hate to say it, but they were right to penalize you. That wasn't a question my friend, it was a blatant greeting, and you'll learn soon enought they do't play that. Don't feel bad though. I've been penalized over good questions AND statements. Just laugh it off and forget about it. ALL of us have been penalized before.

The question really should be, what kind of a person would report you for saying 'Good Morning?' People must get extremely bored or are just that petty.
