Seriously, it's a way that electronic devices (phones, PDA's, computers, etc.) can communication with each other wirelessly over short (10 meters or less) distances.

Bluetooth is a global initiative by Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba to set a standard for cable-free connectivity between mobile phones, mobile PCs, handheld computers and other peripherals.

This allows you to send data or connect your phone for example to a headset, without wires.
