Pets are a pleasure to have. They are good for us. They can help hypertension and also for some people loneliness. All you have to do to realise this is to pet an animal for 5 minutes and see how you feel.

I wouldn't live and couldn't live without my pets. The happiness they bring is immesurable, the love they give is totally unconditional and selfless. Dogs are the best, but all animals are amazing! Who needs prozac when you have pets!! Watch a tortoise eating, watcha a dog sleeping or playing, I challenge you not to smile!!

The joy they bring to our lives is immeasurable. They keep us healthier - studies show having a pet lowers blood pressure, helps us learn how to interact with other people better, etc. They help us meet our nieghbors & make new friends while walking in our neighborhoods & parks. They show us what unconditional love is everyday! We give them a little food & shelter, and they give us their all in return - what a great deal.

cos they bring so much happiness with them. we have an indoor pet rabbit. he is gorgeous and very fussy about being picked up and stroked. it is a brilliant feeling when he jumps onto our knees and settles down to be stroked and petted.. we have had him 3 years, he costs us a fortune in vets bills but there is no way we would swap him for all the money in the world.

All I can say is.... no human ever reacted in the same way that the dog I had reacted each and everytime I came home. He would be at the door to greet me and his tail would wag nonstop and he would be licking and kissing me like I was the joy of his life.
I miss him so much.

sadly although a majority of people value pets as a 'member' of the family....there are an increasing number of retarded individuals who see pets as nothing more than an accessory...wether it be those pathetic plebs who buy pets as fashion statements or those equally moronic chavs who have dogs because they believe it makes them 'harder'.....x

The bond between a pet and his guardian is amazing, companionship, unconditional love, protection, always happy to see you even if you have only been gone for 5 minutes, 5 hours or 5 days. I have one dog and two cats and I wouldn't trade them for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

the one absolute, unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world- the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous- is his dog... He will kiss the hand with no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounter with the roughness of the world... When all other friends desert, he remains. (George G. Vest on the dog)
Plus dogs and cats are better than kids of your own as if they get pregnant you can sell their children lol!!!
