I can export it as a *.BAS file, but I can't seem to be able to import it into another spreadsheet.

Save it as a template and then use that template for other sheets that you want layed out the same way.

you save saying "Excel-like software". Is it Microsoft Excel you've been utilising on abode windows ninety 8 or something else?
