Regardless of the administration in office or who holds congress, government consistently lies to the people and gets away with it. Yet, should anyone lie on their taxes, they go to jail and get to pay stiff fines.

Its not okay for the governement to lie to us. But they have since governemnt began

If you read the laws "closely", you'll discover that you don't have to pay taxes. The laws are written saying that if you lie on a federal form/document that you swear by signing, that all the information is the truth, it's against the law. If you notice, there's a long line of people who provide those who give us the answers, with the answers. Plausable deniability. The just pass the buck downhill claiming that that's what they were told, and just passed on the information.
Then there's the other choice. Go live in another country, where if you ask a question like yours, you're never seen again. Take your choice!

The people who hold government office think they are "above" the law & "above" morals.
Wealthy people all throughout history look at life from a totally different perspective than you and I.With wealth comes arrogance,the wealthy trully believe they are better than anyone else.It's ok for them to lie,cheat and steal,but the common man has to answer to the wealthy man,so it is considered ill of the common man to lie about anything to the wealthy.

They rule, we follow. Sure this is supposedly a country run by the people, but the people haven't truly run this country for quite sometime.
