Ok, I guess I need to elaborate. I know that i have and ectopic pregnancy and yes, I am being treated for it. What I am wondering is do you still gain weight with an ectopic pregnancy?

I've known for over a month now that it is an ectopic pregnancy and they have been giving me methotrexate injections to deteriorate the pregnancy cells. It seems like it is never going to be over! My hcg levels are down to 11 now so hopefully I don't have much further to go before this is done. I've noticed though that all of my clothes are fitting me tight.

If you feel you have an ectopic pregnancy get to your doctor at once. That is extremely dangerous.

Go see a dr or go to the er if you suspect an ectopic pregnancy. You might gain some weight from bloating but not baby weight since since the tube would burst before you would be far enough along to gain any significant amount of weight. Good luck.

It could be because of a shift in hormones as well as a possible side effect from the injections.

Well you shouldn't be in that condition that long to gain weight. It could really hurt you. No you shouldn't be gaining weight due to being pregnant.
