If your computer has usb 2.0 ports, you should not have any problem at all. If you have the older USB 1 type ports, check the wifi adapter to see if it is compatible. If it does work, it will connect at a much lower rate on G type networks as the USB 1.0 ports can not support the speed of wireless G networks.
