Yes it's alright to do. Just rinse the tank, ornaments, substrate out well. Most fish will be able to tolerate any residual salt left over. Hold off on buying any salt sensitive fish till you do a few water changes though-like cory cats, plecos, loaches.

If you are worried about salt leaching into your fresh water, dont worry. Just rinse the tank out really well before setting it up for fresh. TIP: When cleaning the tank, use clean water and elbow grease--DO NOT use soap.

do something humanitarian with the salt water fish.change water and wash all items in the aquarium.then add a liquid chlorine eliminator sold in the fish area at your local pet store or wally world.buy fresh water fish of your choice.place bags with fish in water until they get accustomed to the temperature.then add fish.sprinkle small amount of fish food with lots of love. WHAT A RECIPE!

ya its possible but its take time u have to less solt slowly every time change water less some salt that u used befor but chance to die fish if u go faster
