The questions can be so numerous.
It is difficult to come with right questions.
But what good is the question if you do not know the right answer.
Image a searcher with a lot of right question.
If he does not find right answer until his old age then he will write
"What I did not accomplish Or what I do not know Or what I did wrong due to the knowledge I did not gather till now !"
But if the same person gets the right answers early enough in his life then he will write
"What I did right. What I know and how it has been useful to me and to the world".
Even the person knowing RIGHT ANSWERS can answer right and impart knowledge while answering to wrong question.
Right question on their own are having no value.
The value of right question is achieved when the Right Answer is attached to it.
It is like telling only the problem to your boss.
(Only Right Question)
Or
Telling the problem and possible solution options to the boss.
(Right Question supported by right Answers)
Which one of the above 2 is more valuable in the right boss's eyes ?
Naturally the later one.
Due to above reasons
The Right Answer is of greater value to society.
Period.

The right questions are equally important as the answers, but they come first. When there's a question, the answer(s) can follow which leads to more new questions. It's a cycle. It's lik cjlambert said: ying & yang. One leads to the other, and does not exist without the other... They can only be of value to society when they are linked to eachother: if you know the answer, but you don't know what question lead to this answer, you don't know anything...

If you continue to have questions sociiety doesn't get very much done. There is no RIGHT answer to anything, there are multiple views on every subject. Both, not totally equal but congruent, The right answer is never going to be found and you need a question to answer anything. The right question can always be thought of but can never have a right answer.

I think it's the right question. A person could know millions of random facts, but never have the answers for the questions they are asked. If the right questions are asked, then people can seek an answer to a worthy question.

You do not judge the value of society by questions and answers, but by its norms, virtue and its culture, no matter how one asks question or one answers questions whether right or wrong, is not enough to valuate the society........the only thing that is of great value to the society is a majority of collective interest.

The right question. You may have an answer; but if the question is not being asked in the first place, then your answer will not be too helpful in the long run.

Actually I disagree,,,No offense.
One should NEVER stop questioning,,,,even in the absence of answers.
To be "able" to answer with any validity, has to be caused by questioning, and learning, initially.
To hand out answers, just to have something to say, doesn't promise credibility, or an audience that will listen.
"Value" is relative and subjective. What "works" for me, might not, for you?.... and unless Thinking, Knowledge, etc. are proven and "globally" accepted as fact or truth, "Answers" are often just one individuals opinions, and might be totally disregarded.

We are NOT having some sort of examination or test here. We expect that the "asker" asks questions that he/ she is interested to know the answer of. And not test the wisdom or intelligence of the answerers.
Like wise we expect the answerers to share their views of the answers for the question raised.
This is a forum to exchange ideas and views and not to have oneupmanship
