I'm pretty sure parents are legally obligated to provide shelter for their children until they are adults or become emancipated.
So basically, yes. Your parents can't charge you rent. If they refuse you basic shelter, they are not meeting their requirements as a caretaker and you could call the Department of Family Services.

They can not "kick you out" if you do not pay, but you are not entitled to any freedoms they do not allow you to have.
So if there is a compromise between helping with the bills (if you are old enough to work) and allowing you to leave for other reasons than school, then so be it.

Well, they can not kick you out of the house just because you dont pay them if you are under 18. If they try to, then you should contact social services.

I beleive there is a law. But they can ask you to help out in other ways though
