Snitch Mean

2016-10-14 11:38:30 · answer #3 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

It has two meanings: to steal something of little value, as in "I snitched a box of envelopes from work", or --more commonly-- to tattle, tell tales, or inform. See also "grass", "stool pigeon", or "indic" (in French).
There used to be a children's song called "Somebody Snitched on Me" about a naughty little boy who tells all the bad things he's done, but "somebody snitched" to Santa so he doesn't get any presents.

Wow. The best you can do is talk to your son and see if he has any issues with what you've done, and then address those and apologize profusely. Then, talk to your daughter-in-law, explain your mistake, let her know that you feel very embarrassed about the situation and apologize about a thousand more times. Chances are, you've really hurt her feelings and she really thinks you think she's a ***** and you hate her. Sit her down and let her know you didn't mean to insult her, that you welcome her as a part of your family, and then apologize again. Hopefully once you start showing the both of them that you love them, things will blow over. Good luck!
