I've been unemployed for almost 2 mos, had 3 unsuccessful interviews, since I haven't received or probably will never receive any response from one of them. I tried to apply for retail, bank, clerical jobs at the college and posted ads.

I had already told several people I know, and friends, but I think I have very few contacts who can help me find a right job.

Employment/recruiting agencies can't seem to help me. Sometimes I'd get a call from few agencies only to verify basic information about me but rarely or never received a call for a job.

It seems hard to concentrate on school work, and not to worry much about finding and getting a job at the same time.

Do u have a degree? Depending on your major and work experience it is not uncommon to take up to a year for college grads to find decent jobs. I have had like 15 interviews and didnt get a job. But my first job out of college I got and was my first. It was luck but I got laid off

Sometimes it takes luck for you to be employed. Do not discourage. More interview increase your chances to be employed.

Beside that get some reference on how to approach in handling interview. Knock Them Dead! is a good book, for example.

Since you are studying, i guess your academic should be ok, thus there is nothing wrong with you. Just get a good reference book as I have mentioned and you will be fine.

2 months is nothing! It took my husband at least 6 months to find the perfect job.
