NO ! McCain is not the man for the job,he is not even good material for the job.
Some where along the line John McCain lost all reasoning.I believe he tasted money and likes the taste.McCain thinks and acts like a neo-nazi republican.McCain is no better than Bush, probably worse.

I don't want McCain for Pres. He will do and say whatever the NY Times promotes. More conservatism will make the US better not less. Can someone tell me a position that McCain promotes that is different from the Dems or NY Times?
If Liberal politics is your solution why not vote for a Dem?

I used to like him for his independence and consistent conservatism but began to have my doubts when he appeared at the university of his former enemy, racist Jerry Falwell. He bravely spoke out against US torture of war prisoners, but folded under administration pressure and accomplished very little. Yesterday he vilified his friend Kerry for his slip of the tongue, and he said Kerry was insulting the troops. McCain knows better, and would have said little or nothing, IF he was still an independent conservative. I think he's had his day--either the neocon leadership has something they're holding over McCain's head or McCain is just getting tired and old and has lost his resolve.

I have my doubts now about McCain after watching him jump on the "bash Kerry" bandwagon yesterday. Just another lying politician who trys to divert people's attention from the real issues.

Good question. I believe that he is a Democrat in Republican clothing. You can't have it both ways.
