my family and i were wondering the same thing. I know that it was freezing where I live, so alot of those people used their cars to keep warm. me? I was walking right along with my kids, I think that is the most special part trick or treating. But I agree with you that it does seem that most people are getting lazy and don't want to get into the halloween spirit.

I was wondering the same thing, we had sooo many kids last night on our street (went through 8 bags of candy). I was amazed at all the cars dropping the kids off and picking them up at the end of the block, we get a lot of kids from the city also.

Some people use their cars as if they were body attachments, I swear. They´re setting a bad example to their kids by insinuating that exercise is not important. With the way gas prices are today it´s just unbelievable.

LOLOLOL...so true. did you ever notice too that these people will pick the subdivisions where the houses are really close together so the kids get the most candy and don't have to walk too far between homes?

No one was in the Halloween spirit this year, it made me sad for my son. And yes, I agree with you no one wanted to walk around. What happened to the good ol' days?

They probably get tired of handing out candy to all of the kids, or they don't have any spirit.
