is it true you cant put a real "guy" on the bonfire it was great fun up untill his screams brought the attention of the neighbours who then found it necessary to call the the police, who then claimed it was illegal. should I have strangled him first? or maybe gagged him? or maybe do it to the neighbours this year?

we made plenty of money taking him round nailed to a crucifix doing "penny for the guy" first tho and he didnt seem to mind that he just slept the whole night untill we lit him

Why not try something new this year. Get your neighbours (preferably the smelly ones!!!) Strangle them, then gag them with a firework (rockets are good) place said neighbour on top of bonfire, cover in petrol, then light the rocket this will drown out the sound of screams whilst you set fire to the fcuker! It's against the law to do that,,but, it is good that you offer to share your bonfire with your neighbours, next time. There's no law against sharing in the festivities afterall. Wish i could be there. Some guys have all the luck ;)

You should have covered the guy in paper mache first. That way, when he screams on the fire, people will just think you've made a really good job of trying to make it seem more realistic.

uh, you need help.... maybe from someone who's licensed.
But, if you're headstrong about putting someone in the bonfire, use the roadkill cat down the street instead. No screams there, and it's already DEAD, so it can't be considered cruel and illegal.

shite i thought it was legal?? I wondered why the police were hanging round the field out the back of our house last year, thought they were just clearing up all the animals we strapped fireworks to, thanks toots for bringing this to my attention, i'll stick to rodents this year for sure
