Some of my nails do that too and yes it is annoying. my mom is always trying out new products and she recommended that I try NAIL ENVY Nail Strengthener. Its by O P I. We bought ours from Trade Secrets @ our local mall. I works really well for me.

I'm not sure. Most of my nails have bends in them or really rough ridges. I have strong nails so it doesn't make sense to me.
