The Lamb lies Down on Broadway - Genesis.

I think some albums can encapsulate a feeling or emotion at a transition stage in life. This is what this album does for me.
I listened to it in my early twenties when I identifed with much of the content. Allthough I do not identify with it in the same way it still draws up emotions and memories from the past for me.

(and probably my flatmates as I played it 8 times back to back loudly in my room at least once )

Hmm, bit of brit pop:

Echobelly, Skunk Anansi, Radio Head (The Bends), Pulp, and of course Take That - only joking - Oasis, any album, whatever's at hand....

If it had to be one album then I'd choose Radio Head - The Bends.

May just put it on tonight actually...

A mix cd of all of the songs that mean something from summer 2006.
The summer I sat my GCSEs, the summer lots of my friends went off to college instead of staying on at sixth form, the summer I had whooping cough, the summer I lost people who were close to me, the summer I made new friends, the longest summer I've had since starting school in1994 (12 weeks :])...!

All the songs on that CD bring back memories, good or bad, in the end they all make me smile. :]
