How do I stop my history trail on Internet explorer?

I have tried doing what they suggested but its still there, thank you.

ok so I have done that-but do I have to do it everytime I want to clear my history, cant I set it up as a preference?

Also set your history to 0 and when ever you shut down nothing will remain,But if you still have problem download a free window washer and wash every time you start to shut PC down Webroot has a really good one that will also go through your drives like c& d and the old files that you have UN installed but still have fragments in your pc,it will wash it and not harm your PC.But it is only a 30 day trial but well worth it for the trial

go to Tools menu, take the Internet Options

their clear the History and days to keep as 0 days..

then clear the temp internet files and also check the offline content...and also the cookies ( be careful, if using some clients u may require d cookies then u need to manually delete except those ).. dat will do.
