The arms they sold to Iran are Shahab-3 missles. They can be equip't with nuclear warheads, or tnt. Either way, they have a range of
more than 2000 kilometers(1,242.8 miles). Close enough to our troops to hit them, or even Israel.
Thoughts?
I think therefore, Russia is a terrorist sponsoring state.

Well assuming your American, I wouldn't be so fast as to call the kettle black. If I recall correctly there was a certain " Iran-Contra" scandal a few years back involving the beloved Reagan administration where good Ol' Ollie North was caught red handed trying to sell arms to both Iran in Iraq to instigate a war in order to sell even more arms. All for the sake of funding another was between Honduras and Nicaragua. (How quickly we forget)

Truth is, all these Afghan and Iraqi fighters have been trained by military groups that were once themselves professionally trained by the American military. Many of the arms sold to the middle east are either authentically American or traded through certain "American" business sources.

Truth is, America funded, trained and supplied must of the Taliban throughout the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. Back then you were assisting "Freedom fighters". Now the Russian military is under scrutiny by American officials for not being able to "finish the job" so to speak, and dispose of a terrorist state.

Not that I'm an advocate of either circumstances, but karma is a *****.

Maybe because Russia has a developed Nuclear program and Iran still does not. Don't forget it was Russia that supplied Cuba with Nuclear bombs during the cold war. Probably not a country we should go after like we did Iraq!

When you sell arms to Pakistan and other countries, why not Russia sell arms to which ever country pays for it.

In 2003, the last year accurate figures are available, the US sold $177.5 billion in arms to overseas nations. 80% of the sales in developing countries went to nations characterized as 'undemocratic' or with major human rights abuses.
Sort of makes you wonder, doesn't it?
