Globally, windows dollar sales are almost equal to doors $ sales. However, in Latin America and Indonesia, the sales of doors measured in dollars are more than 50% higher than the sales of windows.

Does somebody have a theory for this pattern?

Maybe it's because much of Latin American and all of Indonesia are tropical, and unless you have air conditioning, windows don't need double or triple glazing. As a result, the windows are less expensive.
