I got my first job waiting tables when I was 18. I was SO nervous, and on my second day, I was leaning over to put plates of food on the table, and ended up dumping a basket of hot french fries onto a baby's head. Thank god the baby wasn't hurt, but the parents were really pissed. I can't blame them, though. I still cringe when I think about that.

My worst screwup was when I was a catering waitress for a wedding, "Family style" (bowls of food placed on the table and people help themselves). I spilled green bean juice from the bowl onto a woman's dress. She was so p'ed off! But her husband laughed hysterically and handed me a $10 bill! Oh my...

Oh god....I've done some embarassing things.....

I was a cocktail waitress, and on my first day, I spilled a whole glass of white wine down the back of a lawyer's neck. I nearly DIED! My manager was SO cool, he came running over and said the restaurant would pay to have the lawyer's jacket and shirt dry-cleaned, and explained that it was my first day and they should give me a break. They ended up laughing about it, and I got a big tip, too.

One time I was working at Cracker Barrel, and it was really busy that night. I was carrying a large tray with 5 plates full of food. Just as I got to the table, the tray tipped and all 5 of the plates went crashing to the floor, and plates shattered and food splattered everywhere. I was about to burst into tears, when the other waitresses came running over and told me to go to the back and take a break while they cleaned it up. I ran to the back and didn't want to come back out because I was so embarassed. I finally came back out, and all the customers were so nice about it, they told me not to worry, that it happens to the best. That was awesome.

I never worked as a waiter, but once we went out to a family dinner (myself, my sister, her husband, and my parents). While serving, the waitress spilled some soup on my sisters coat (which was draped on the back of her chair). My sister, being a fashion nut, had a pretty fancy coat. The waitress apologized profusely, I think she was almost to tears, "i'm so sorry, it was an accident, really!"; my sister was pissed, but her husband was pretty cool with it.
Another time, I was having lunch with some friends. Our meal was done, and as the waitress was picking up our plates, a couple of the dishes slipped from her hand and crashed on the floor. Her boss (and I guess the owner) was feet away, and boy he looked PISSED!!! I actually thought he was going to walk up to her and slap her! (but he didn't) LOL! I hope she didn't get fired.

The worst? I was taking some lemons to a cop who always got lemon water. I was rushing all over the place (third shift, Friday night, no help at all), tripped over my own feet, landed on the lap of a really hot cop, and the lemons landed in the lap of the one who wanted them. But in a way, that was also the best screwup I made, because the cops made me sit down for twenty minutes to make sure I was okay (I was pregnant), and I got a much needed break!!

I was busying a table when I spilled a drink all over a child. I mean an alcoholic drink. I kept apologizing. I wonder why they didn't leave me a tip?

To my eternal shame, I once worked in McDonalds. It wasn't so much a mistake, but one time I tried to dunk my manager's head in to the deep fat fryer 'cause I was so pissed off at him.

D'you wanna know what's funny though? They didn't sack me for trying to kill an employee, but they DID sack me for turning up late twice in the same week.

Go Mickey D's.

nicely I cant % one yet how I value a bad recreation is rather how undesirable it incredibly is. for occasion there are various large video games for the NES yet there are terrible PS1 video games that are nevertheless a lot extra helpful. So it is going to must be an quite previous recreation with out tale, undesirable photographs, undesirable gameplay.
