First, always keep your face clean. I usually wash my face twice in a day, once in the morning, and another before I sleep. I then use an oil-reducing toner, before applying a moisturizer. If you have oily skin, use the oil-free moisturizers available. This prevents drying which exacerbates your pimple breakouts. For the zits already there, I use Clean and Clear speed clearing gel. I tell you, it works wonders. Within a day or two, the pimple will dry up and you will notice the inflammation gone. I apply it up to three times a day, as per directions on the tube.

1- never pop it, things will get worse
there are many spot sticks (maybeline, lumene, seventeen... u name it) to put exactly on the pimple
make sure ur hands and face are clean before u apply it and it is 3 times a day. Usually the best thing is to start with it when u feel the pimple under ur skin so when it will go out it will be small for it had already dried out a bit
i don't believe in the toothpaste thing it must be a coincidence that it worked
if u r not going out the second day cut a piece of lemon and apply many times after few hours it will accelerate sucking the infection outside the skin so it will get bigger for 12 hours then it will be gone faster (instead of having it for a few days it will be for 2 days)

I have always used a very small amount of toothpaste to dry up and minimize a pimple. It has to be the paste kind, not a gel. Use with a Q-tip directly onto the pimple because it is very drying and could leave a dry spot on your skin if you use too much.
It works like a charm!

Always wash your hands thouroughly before touching your face,as it could spread in more areas, dont attempt to pop because it will flare up and become worse wet a face cloth with hot/warm water and leave on face for 1-2 minutes this will help reduce the size and make your zit eventually pop on its own.
