Yep! Just did a loan of this nature. There'a always a bank willing to accept, EVEN if it's atrocious. lol! The interest rate may be high, but, if you make the payments for a year, and avoid late payments, you can refi to a lower rate. :)

You can always find a mortgage since if you don't pay they can take away your house. However you may be forced to pay higher interest rates than someone with better credit.
It is harder to get credit cards since it is harder for cred card companies to take back merchandise you buy with the card ie: there is no collateral.

yes you can. as long as one of you has good or decent credit you should be able to put the mortgage in your name only and depending on if you're in a state that has a joint title, you and your wife can be put on the title. talk to your mortgage agent about it.
