It's probably heart burn. It's one of those unfortunate, but not abnormal side effects of pregnancy. Tums should help ease the problem (they helped me). If that doesn't work (or even if it does) let your doctor know what's going on and they should be able to prescribe something.

Good luck.

Indigestion.

Perhaps you need to eat yogurt to get your balance back.
Eating too fast, and now chewing properly also causes "heartburn".
Check with your doctor on what you are able to take.

I knew some who had to have ginger ale to help with indigestion(w/splenda not sugar or imitation sweetner - very bad during pregnancy).

Also increase your water - sip all day long, and of course fiber pills that your doc says are ok to make sure you are regular, and to avoid discomfort and bloating.

Relax your gift is almost here, and it lasts a lifetime!

It's actually quite common during pregnancy In fact, I'm surprised you didn't start this a couple months ago(glad you didn't) You could actually have acid reflux ( I have it severely)
And since you are pregnant in advanced state, you will probably see doctor this week,,,make sure you don't forget to tell him/her
He may only allow a tums for now....Zantac may ba allowed also)......good luck with that and with your baby!!

Acid reflux. You're stomach is being squished, so the food and stomach acid are rising into your esophagus. If it's bad, see your Dr. You can take tums (they're just calcium). Try eating mild food and small meals.

that would be called heart burn, go to your doctor and ask if he/she can tell you what is the best to take while you are pregnant, like i know some women take tums, and other things like that, but you dont want to do it without asking your doctor first

heartburn. possibly ur oesophagus is inflamed as well, esp if it feels like ur chest is burning as u swallow.

check with the doc for which meds are ok.

if it's just heartburn, gaviscon syrup works 100% of the time (dunno whether u get it where u live)
