It is symbolic of the democratic party's thinking.

If you believe that Kerry represents the entire Democratic Party, and that this election is a referendum on the war, both Iraq & Afghanistan, then this is EXTREMELY relevant.

If, however, you believe that each Congressman or Senator is able to speak and think for themselves (note the number of candidates that have started to distance themselves from Kerry...), then this may not be relevant at all. Too bad Kerry is up for re-election, I would love to see him ousted.

As relevant as the Democratic Strategy to nationalize their election effort for their canidates into a unified one against President Bush and the war rather than about the local issues each canidate has and their personal merit and achievement to make them the best choice for their district. As relevant as Kerry stumping around the country attacking the President like he is in 08 already.

John Kerry served in Vietnam unlike the current Commander n Chief. Kerry knows what it was like in Vietnam with 18 year old kids; many whom were not high school graduates......while many others took the route of college deferments to stay on U.S. soil! The vast majority of soldiers in Iraq today are not unlike those soldiers. Yes many are older and have a good education background and were fulfilling their obligations as reservists at the time of activation however what Kerry says still stands true for the grunts. I don't think any active soldier with an ounce of education is going to side with the conservatives that want to say that Kerry has insulted them.

The Democrats have my vote!

Since Sen. Kerry ran for pres. last election, he is really a voice for the Democrat party. Liberals look up to him (I don't know why!).

Well, if people think Kerry has given reason for political feuding, and many losers seem to think so, then they are relevant.

They are not but the braindead voters that buy all of the GOP BS will think otherwise. That is the sadness of it all.

Kerry served in Vietnam and Bush was dodging National Air Guard drill meetings in Alabama.

I already voted anyway. Other than that, it doesn't change anything. I think he may have hurt his chances to run in the Dem Primary.

Unless Kerry is running for anything...it shouldn't matter.
