Apparently its in the misguided belief that it will deflect the flash from speed cameras thus making it impossible for the camera to read your number plate (it dosnt work)

Pass.....often wondered that one...maybe it's to match the crappy seat covers and the ornate plastic tissue box cover on the rear parcel shelf....

Its supposed to reflect the infra red beam from speed cameras. I'm not sure if it works.

cause when the light hits the CDs it reflects back in multi colored rainbows...a poor mans cyrstal...and some folks think it looks cool......

they are cds, they have special messages, sentimental things and messages that have been printed on the cds for show.

it's supposed to mess up the pictures from the speed cameras, reflect the flash, don't know if it works or not.

They think it will reflect the flash from speed camaras etc thus blinding the camara it does not work!!!!!
