What do State Reps. do?

I see signs everywhere on people who are state reps. and I was just curious on what that do.

They make all the state laws which is the majority of laws you live by and they make the budgets that end up affecting your police, fire, schools, taxes, and all public services. Probably more important to your life than the people in Washington.

They represent thier districts in the state legislature.
They creat and edit laws that impact the states affairs.
