look, women are different from men, that's why sometimes they talk about many things that men find boring or nasty...to be a woman's friend, u have to lesten to her, just lesten, and she will do the same, just try to understand her, let her share with you all her problems and thoughts..trust me, that's the most iportant thing for a woman, is to be understood and to feel the interest to her and to what she is talking abt...
some extra points, like being funny, cool, open minded..would be a plus!
my best friends are all men, and i love them just because they make em feel like a princess, they call me, they are always here when i need them, they lesten to me even when i'm talking abt problems like extaweight, hat to wear, how to seduce a man i like....
good luck!

They are just smarter than yesteryear. Really now do you really know that you want a "true lasting friendship" before you speak to a woman. Some are really not worth it you know. Be true to your self first about what you want, whether its coffee and cake, just sex, or just a refreshing conversation. Then be true to her. Truth is the best game man because its so rare that it seems mysterious, women Love mysterious , or so I've read. Just be true.

First of all, stop trying to meet women for a "lasting relationship" in an inappropriate setting such as a bar. Try meeting women through friends or colleagues. If you are religious, you can meet women at church. If you're not, try volunteering for an organization that you believe in. Just start off as friends and don't try to move too quickly. Be genuine, don't pretend to be someone you're not. The woman will figure out who you really are eventually...
Most of all don't be selffish. Care about the woman -- her interests and needs. Good luck.

it had nothing to do with the approach
it is mainly about trust and communication
lasting friendship will take time, maybe even years
