We have not lost the war! We have not even lost one battle! We have terrorists that are blowing people up over there. And some of our troops have died during battle or attacks. But every battle we have fought over there with are military we have won. So far it has not been enough to suppress the terrorists but we are whittling away. This is not the republicans against the democrats in Iraq like CNN & ABC act like this is America (USA) against terriorists. Get a grip America terriorists blew up over 3,000 Americans on 911. Let's support our troops and win this war!

John Kerry is this you ??
First of all ... Republicans are not the only ones at war ... AMERICA is at war ...a war that BOTH Dems and Republicans voted for. NONE of us asked for this war ..the terrorist attacked our country and forced us into war. Trust me, we would much rather not be there.
But your question kinda of puzzles me ... YOUR Democratic leader sat on his hands in the Oval Office while America was attacked FOUR times during his Presidency ... he did not respond ONCE .. therefore we were attacked a fifth time (9/11) ... We responded ... and still have a lot of work ahead .. but the country has not been attacked a sixth time since they see that we will not allow anyone to attack our country.
There you go kiddo ... hope this helps.

Who said anything about cant win, defeatism isn't a workable view. We removed an evil man and attempted to give the Iraqi's a chance at freedoms they were denied. We have made improvements to the Iraqi people that they could only have only dreamed of before, you choose to focus on the popular leftist media whose agenda is for you to hate America by slamming an unpopular and falable administration, but, people tend to forget that just because you become a congressman does not mean you become non human. humans make mistakes, sadly business's can crumble from poor business mistakes, what that means is just find the kinks in the armor and fix whats wrong, just by replacing it with something completely on the opposite side of the table can actually make things worse than just revamping whats in place right now.

You can't win a war when a country its self is divided,. Abraham Lincoln said "A house divided against itself cannot stand" which means that if we can't agree than nothing will ever get done. We have to agree to win the war in Iraq.

Since when was it proven that the war was lost. Both parties authorized the war. Democrats are the ones that want to quit the war. Soldiers from both parties are fighting the war. How do you define win in a war?

5 years no attack , we are safe and the military is doing what they are paid to do
the war in iraq is not going to be a short war , that has been stated from the beginning . you say they can't win like we have lost , the war is not over

I can't tell if your question is "Because the Reps will never win the war in..." or "If the Reps don't win the war in...".
If the former, then I disagree with the hypothesis.
If the latter, then I agree with you that the war must be won to keep us safe.

How many attacks have there been by terrorist on American soil since 9/11? That’s right—zero. The only way we’re going to lose the war is if we cut and run.

The war in Iraq should have little to do with it.....if our government (both parties) had cared, even a little bit, about the safety of America & Americans our borders would have been sealed tight within hours of 911...
