Is he for real? Between the preseason and now the first game against ths Suns, it looks like this kid actually has some game. Will he be the starter when Kwame and Mihm come back? How does a potential breakout season from Bynum affect the Lakers' championship hopes?

Bynum is for real ladies and gentlemen. Sorry Kwame and Mihm fans but Bynum will be the starting center for our team this season. I am very proud of how Bynum and my man Lamar played today, they did some pretty **** out there.

But lets make this very clear, once I come back from this stupid injury, our offense should involve ME and only ME! I don't care about the triangle! I am the only one deserving to shoot the ball and my teammates better be cooperative and they should pass the ball to ME everytime they touch it or i'll let them here it. Anyway, I predict a very wonderful season for ME and I assure my billions of fans that I will win the scoring title easily. So keep on worshipping ME like I'm your God cuz I will surely reward you by shooting the ball even more. Peace!

He's always showed that he can play, it's just that getting playing time as a rook on a Phil Jackson team is harder than keeping Kobe from lighting you up! Last year, Bynum showed that he could block shots, rebound the ball and be an overall presence in the middle. Last night, he showed another dimension to his game; he hustled, he moved well without the ball and he passed the rock nicely. Working with KAJ - he can't do anything but get better! I think Mihm has more low post moves than Andrew but doesn't quite have the same court vision, understanding of the game or hustle so I do think even if Mihm is back and healthy, Bynum will be the Lakers' anchor for years to come. The Lakers are really looking good this season. They have a bunch of guys that can really play and make contributions. I just hope Kobe's return will be subtle and as unnoticed as possible (lol if possible). These players NEED to be able to bring that same aggressiveness and intensity with Mr. 81 on the court...especially LAMAR ODOM - a player that still has unlimited potential!!!

What up L07, it really is a puzzling question. i imagine the Lakers have not had adequate time to confirm how good they quite might want to be even as completely healthful. Andrew has shown the flair to be a consistent double-double guy or perhaps a destiny all-celeb even as healthful or perhaps as he receives adequate touches of the ball. Being a participant of that high quality- it really is straightforward to assert that any crew is more effective perfect with Andrew Bynum. i recommend notwithstanding if he's not decrease back at one hundred% in basic terms having him to come back off the bnehc provides the Lakers more effective intensity and sturdiness. And there are video games that you suggested the position Bynum's presence would have helped the Lakers (fairly on the protecting part of the ball). i'm not particular he's the answer- yet he's likely area of the answer. The Lakers have a lot offensive fireplace capacity and intensity that once they play large crew protection- they are particularly puzzling to triumph over. i'm satisfied we are going to have him decrease back for the playoffs- because it in basic terms makes the Lakers that a lot tougher to triumph over in a 7 recreation sequence. The kid's got potential!!! If he continues playing good defensively (grabbing rebounds & blocking) & offensively, I think (phil) Jackson will give him more playing time, not necessarily starting but that'll depend on Mihm's game. The kid can play, we all know that, he's proven that he's not afraid of playing against any center out there, including Shaq (last year went 1 on 1 against Shaq). Championship for the Lakers this year, it would be great but I don't think they're ready just yet, playoff spot, more than likely. . . but who knows, yesterday was only the first game of the season, a lot of things can change!!! We can either get better . . . or worse!!!

Yes, Bynum wil become a perimere player but i think next year

Phil Jackson is very strict on playing young players so i think by next year they will trade either mihm or brown and bynum will probably start. As for now, he is for real, but he doesnt have a breakout season this year

Lakers are gooing to be champions for sure with their line-up i think next year tho. Farmar is looking pretty good too so i think he will start. The line up will be like this

Farmar (young and improved)
Bryant (superstar leader)
Radmanovic (3 point shooter)
Odom (double- doubles)
Bynum (the next Shaq but with good Ft's)

He's good. When Mihm gets healthy, he'll lose some play time, as it stands now.
If he continues doing well, he might become the starter.
