I'm a florist & we have a guy that just recently started & we have became friends. He has a bf that is not nice & I think he wolud be a great match for my son's principal. He is gay but it is not talked about. How would I approach him about this with out embarressing him or offending him. I'm sure he's a proud gay man, but keep in mine we are in a small community that is not "gay" friendly. I just think if he gets laid, he might lighten up! Just kidding, searously though, any gay men out there have any suggestions?

The guy @ work is not in a searous relationship, & if I know two people that would be great with one another, be it gay or straight, then I like to do what I can , I think God has people on this earth to help anyway we can & If I can make a love connection for someone, is that so wrong?

The best thing to do is get the two to meet in a non threatening way, it could be at a party or some other social gathering. Make sure it is as natural and non pressurising as possible. Then if the two have any ting in common they can find out without any strings!

You want to approach the principal of a school in a small town that is not gay friendly and help fix him up with someone who already has a b/f? Why in heavens name would you suggest such a thing?

I'm not a gay man, however I do have enough common sense to advise you to stick to your flowers and mind your own business.

Who are you? Dolly Levi? Please no rousing Jerry Herman Chorus. But any way, since yentas come in all colors, shapes, sizes and (apperantly) shades of blonde. I just say let things take their course. Invite both of them to a dinner party or something and seat them next to each other. If they get allong great you can start charging people for your match making services. As for premise, i.e. what you're gonna tell them...well you're on your own on that one.

I'm with Indy ..... I find the idea rude. Let your friend start out getting out of his current relationship before you start embarking on a crusade in getting gay people laid.

Do you know anything else about the Principal? Is he already attached? Is he interested? Assuming just because someone is gay that he isn't attached and would be interested because someone else is gay is quite patronizing. Would you date just any person simply because they are heterosexual too? Try to see the situation through his eyes.

Send with him some flowers to decorate any event at the school and get the principal to sign an aknowledge of them.

If your new friend has a boyfriend, no matter how good or bad you think he is you cannot start fixing him up with other guys.
