I am confused, does NA mean the player can not play that night and does not score points?

The person with NA is no longer on a teams roster. Lately Yahoo has had some problems, so dont drop them yet.

when it says NA it means that for what ever reason that player is on a roster he wont play until he is picked up or reactivated.

It means he's not playing. Either he's injured or he got sent down to the minors.
