Microsoft Word can't be downloaded. You need to buy a copy of Microsoft Office, which contains Word, Excel, and other applications.

Microsoft Office 2003 is the current version, but Office 2007 should be out in January.

As an alternative, you can use OpenOffice, from www.openoffice.org. OpenOffice has a Writer program which functions very similarly to Word
