I'd like to clean up a little down there and was wondering what the best method was

I need to know the exact way - do i trim with a pair of scissors or do i pull out a shaver?

I dont want to get rid of all of it

For pubic hair removal, shaving is most utilized. Whether you're a male or female, get a fresh razor and follow these steps to avoid in-grown hairs and infections which feel itchy and appear as painful bumps.

Sit in a chair with your feet up above your waist and legs spread apart.

Trim your Pubic Hair
To make this process easier, trim the genital area before applying the razor! You'll save blades this way. Electric razors, clippers (with safety guards) or scissors work well. To get a closer cut and avoid unwanted nicks, pull the hair up then trim away.

Soaking
Take a long, warm bath beforehand. This softens coarse pubic hair and makes it easier to shave and style.

Lathering
Apply shaving cream or gel to lather the pubic area. A thin layer of petroleum jelly will help with a closer shave. Soap doesn't make the best lather for pubic shaving. Note that some people may have allergic reactions to certain shaving cream.

Shaving
There are many different ways to style your pubic hair. Think about it before you start and be as creative as you desire. It is recommended to shave the same way the hair grows. Wash your shaven genitals on a daily basis. This helps remove unwanted oils and sweat. Moisturize and powder the area daily to avoid irritation. If you keep the hair short, you'll avoid stubbles, which causes itching. Try to wear cotton underwear and to stay away from tight fitting cloths pants. The lack of air circulation and friction of tight cloths may lead to in-grown hairs.

Best I have found and doesn't cost a lot is a beard trimmer. It has a small head to get into the hard toreachh places. Mine has anadjustableeguardd on it to prevent nicks and you can experiment with length till you find what you like. Trim when ever you think it needs it. Also you don't want to trim your pubes and leave the long thighhairss with this method you can keep going and make it all the same. If you shave look for ingrown hairs and shaving bumbs! Basically everyone's said it already, but start with scissors and break out the razor for the more, er, delicate areas.

It's easier to trim with scissors when the hair is dry. Sort of do it like a barber cuts your hair on your head. Grab clumps in between your first two fingers and snip.

Then hop in the shower, get it good and steamy, and use plenty of moisturizing soap and lather up your balls and under carriage area. Pull your scrotum flat and slowly shave the under areas. Go slow.

Always put lotion on 'em after you get out of the shower, too.

Don't be afraid to go short, ps. The less pubic hair crowding the base of your schlong, the bigger it looks!

go for scissors and cut off the long hair as close to the skin as you dare. Then, if you want to really clean up down there, grab a razor (non electric, but make sure you have shaved your face with it once to take the extreeme edge off the blade!!!) and alot of shaving cream for SENSITIVE SKIN. Then just shave it all - flat areas first, followed by your shaft, then very carefully your balls (stretch the skin out and go extreemly slow - you don't want to take a chunk off). The more you shave the easier it will become as your hair and skin will get used to it.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys just like it. And i prefer a person with short hair over a guy with long hair because long hair tends to make guys look too girly.

nerelco electric breard trimmer with gaurd or an electric chaver with a gaurd baisicly. any razor is ill advised unless you know exactly what you are doing. scizors is ok if you can see everything,lol. but i defenitly recomend an electric shaver with a gaurd on it desighned for fine hair, thin. its the safest and it works good for me. :)
