Let's see? Bush is a graduate of Yale University where his grades were higher than John Kerry's.

Sounds more like you are the one with a grade school mentality t so I'd have to say that neither of the scenarios you posit have value and your question is just dumb.

I agree that we deserve better for president. But smooth words don't make the man, either. When is someone who actually cares about the people going to get into office?

Bush's vocabulary sucks, but his ethics and morals are good, Clinton's vocabulary was great his morals and ethics left alot to be desired. Your choice but I know which type person I would rather have for a friend

Bush is a horrible speaker in formal settings. When you listen to him in informal speeches where he is talking off-the-cuff, he's not bad. However, to equate eloquence with intellect or leadership ability is a mistake. Many intelligent people lock-up when speaking. It is not an easy thing to do.

On the other hand, you could have an eloquent speaker like Clinton for President, but who has the morals of a street pimp.

Hhhhmmmmm....I think I'll take Bush.

Sure, he's excruciatingly painful to listen to, but isn't everyone with degrees from Yale and Harvard?

It's unfortunate that he's not well-spoken, as our society has apparently become so superficial that many cannot (or simply choose not to) see beyond this particular deficiency.
