I'm not conservative, but kerry has been trained on what to say and how to say it.. I don't think it was a mistake, I think he's trying to throw the elections for the democrats... there must be big money in it to be a skull and bones buddy with bush.

Its just polical stuff, Kerry is a decorated war vet who dishonored all veterens by throwing away his awards.
Whether or not you believe in the war, the people doing the fighting are human and American and deserve our support, anything else is helping the enemy, ala Jane Fonda during the Viet nam war.
John Kerr, like Ted Kennedy, does not deserve to be in Washington in any capacity, and Hilary Clinton.

Heck, the Conservatives are ecstatic that Kerry said it. The timing was great...just before an important election and Kerry confirmed what people have said about him for years, but he always denied...that he is anti-military and also amazingly egotistical. As one blogger put it, "Kerry swiftboated himself."

Democrats. there is no way to spin what he said. he was not talking about the president and you know it.
What he said was an insult. basically he called our troops a bunch of flunkee burger flippers. That is an INSULT to every GI, especailly those that left high paying jobs to serve their country despite the financial hardships there families are enduring at home.
He owes the troops an apology. What he said demonstrates the lack of respect and understanding of what motivates the troops. And this guy was a couple of thousand votes away from being their leader.

He was referring to the poor performance of the Bush Administration. Remember these Neocons wanted to abuse and humiliate Arabs so they would RESPECT the United States. Had Bush and his advisors known a little about Arab history and culture, perhaps this war would never have happened - at this point it must be sinking into Bush's mind that there is no way out of a prolonged problem with Arab countries - as long as his policies stay the course. Cheney is even funnier: All he can say is we have to be victorious.

It was a swipe at Bush and most people get it BUT - while swiping at Bush he basically called the men and women serving in the military uneducated dummies who did not finish school.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
