Yes. Kerry's recent statements, as well as his prior statements calling US veterans war criminals and terrorists, are all a Republican plot. (sarcasm)

Don't blame others when the Democrats' mask falls and the truth comes out, and America rejects such filth.

Shame on you.

PS Put the shoe on the other foot. If a conservative Republican "botched a joke" in such a way as to recall his previous noxious statements, then his adversaries would say that either he was "sending a signal" to his extremist supporters, or that he was, at the very least, showing his true colors through a Freudian slip. AND YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE.

Forgive me. I'm not usually this hostile, but this really upsets me. As does the silence from Democrats on this. When Trent Lott put his foot in his mouth, there was some "explanation" for the idiocy too. (Something about him first using the line in 1980, when the country clearly WAS in a mess.) But his fellow Republicans didn't buy it, and neither did I. They dropped him like a hot potato, as they should have done.

The Democrats may well win next week. That doesn't make them right, or good for the country.

Hardly...Kerry's comments were highly inappropriate. Bush would have been criticized (at least by the GOP) if he DIDN'T say something. Kerry screwed up big time...and as usual is trying to blame everyone else but himself, but that has always been his pattern.
