She doesnt want to be on bad terms with you but also considers you to be the back up friend. It sucks. If you really wanted to stir the pot a bit you could make friends with her friend. Ha ha. Yes thats very 'high school' of me, but tempting isnt it?

there is a lot like that in my work best policy if they dont think u r good enough to talk to all the time the dont u bother with them .i think the term 4 her is 2 faced

Very simple ask her,then you will not make assumptions and decide your actions which simply means it is you who is making the decisions and you will not be kow towing to there stupid little games

Some people are so shallow, aren't they? Maybe she just has more in common with this other person, and doesn't realise how she's treating you. Try not to let it bother you. It's her problem if she's shallow.
