well, it began with hints and build-up from the beginning on the New TT era in 1980, but didn't get into full swing for a while. In #16, we find out they've been seeing each other, but Dick backs off, and Kory falls for a HIVE agent. They're back together again soon after (I don't recall how soon), and by the #30s they seem fairly well hooked up.

I've actually been thinking of unloading a lot of Titans issues from that era.

you mean the issue numbers? dunno..but i remember that was during the series written by marv wolfman. starfire was invited back home by her parents ie the king n queen of her homeworld and asked to give up grayson because she had to marry and end the war on their planet. the teen titans had travelled back with kory because they believed that it was going to be an acceptance of their romance.
