The greatest gift I have received has been this here computer and the greatest gift I've ever given has been a really expensive CD player to my sister, which she didn't deserve.

I'd have to say an electric guitar that my music teacher in high school gave to me for a graduation present because he knew I was really interested in playing guitar and my family was poor and all I had was this real crappy acoustic. Thirteen years have come and gone since then and I still enjoy playing my guitar at least every other day.
I suppose as far as giving something....My dad lost his job about two months ago and has been financially struggling since then. I have two older brothers that make more money than I do but they didn't help them out at all. So I started working a second job to help them out. After all the way I see it is they took care of me the best they could when they were raising me.

The ability to give birth 2 3 beautiful healthy children and as a gift from me it comes as a gift 2 their grandparents 2 watch grow up. Nothing beats it.

Nice question. I got my girl a mounted retro print the other day that is very 'her' and she adores it, but the best thing I've probably ever given was charitable.
