You must be talking about large pores. These are usually caused by comedogenic products you use on your skin. They tend to block the pores which then causes buildup of oil secretion inside, causing whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. Choose non-comedogenic products. Some brands also have pore-refiner lines with facial washes, toners, and essences to minimize the appearance of unsightly large pores.

We all have pores, (tiny holes in our skin that make it possible for our skin to get oxygen) They are always open. Some peoples are just larger and more noticable then others.
