every month ive ovulated, this month i was on clomid and it didnt show on the microscope that i ovulated, do you think that i didnt ovulate or maybe the microscope isnt 100% accurate?

I use the saliva microscope and I feel it isn't 100% accurate on it's own but works well if you use it in conjunction with the urine strips. So you may have ovulated and missed it on the scope or you just may be ovulating late this month.

You might want to try using it with a standard ovulation predictor test.

There could be several reasons for not seeing ferning:

First, make sure that you have not eaten, had anything to drink, brushed your teeth or smoked for at least two hours prior to testing.

Second, be sure to swish saliva around in your mouth and gather fresh saliva from the saliva glands under your tongue.

Third, you may have miscalculated the time of ovulation. Make sure you have accurately kept track of the length of your complete menstrual cycle.

Fourth, your body may not be producing enough estrogen. If you think this is the case, please consult your physician.
