I do, lol you can call me a dork if you want to lol. But I am by no means a Trekkie. Ifs its on I will watch it and may enjoy it. But I am not the one checking the TV guides to make sure I don't miss the show or next time the movie is coming on.

The original and the next generation, yes, the other shows not so much. I think one of the things about the first show was all the womanizing. I am surprised Kirk never came down with space herpes. As for the next generation it tried to go straight after the scifi market and succeeded.

Star Trek was , when it first came out,innovative. A lot of the sci-fi gadgets in the show are in use today.
Its a good show with a diverse cast and storylines and I still enjoy watching it today, 40 years after its 1st showing
