Are there any consequences? If so, what? And what can i do to help him? AS far as i know he removed the foreskin with a pair of scissors, is this natural?

This seems to be very shocking to most posters and if it is true it shows some real determination or real something else....
Anyway, actually your friend got his circumcision done better than most boys around the world. Most are done in dirty-vermin infested locations with rusty filthy implements. Just like the girls are done that every body is getting so upset about, it is no better for the boys! and nobody seems to care...
What he got is better than being circumcised as an infant because it is by his choice, nobody forced it on him. Pain wise it is no more pain full for an adult than it is for a infant, the only thing is an adult has words in his vocabulary.Words form the links to the memories, so the adult remembers the pain because he can name it. For the infant it is just an unspecified pain, he has no word for it. The memory just becomes a reason for fear and distrust.
And what should he do now that he has done his own circumcision? Do just what parents of newly circumcised boys are told: A light coating of petroleum jelly and loosely wrap with gauze. Don't get the incision wet until healed. Avoid erotic thoughts and stimulus.
Not having it done in a hospital or clinic might actually be safer because of all the "super germs" that are showing up in the medical institutions.
Last but not least, dump out that bottle he was drinking from before he did this. There is something in there...

Your friend needs find the free clinic and sign up immediately then get him to find the head nurse when they call his name to head for the nurses station. Once he does tell him he must explain the situation and ask him/her to get him a appointment with a urologist pronto, they will check the computer availabilities and once they locate a free doc they will send him there so he has to have transportation there also once there he talks to the doc about the situation and seeks advice, he will prescribe anti-biotics and do a complete inspection so if he likes what he sees he might dismiss your friend if not theres followup appointments he must go back again and again and there might be some blood and urine testing for cancer so thats the important issue not the penis condition.

WHAT? Does your friend have a death wish. There has to be a sterile field in which to work in, and the instruments must be sterile. Is your friend trying to make himself sterile, if so, he's off to a great start. To perform surgery on ones self for any other reason than to save ones life is crazy! Even in a lifesaving situation, the person still has to seek medical attention, what about the chance of infection, and even death?!

Bring him to seek medical attentions ASAP!
That procedure should be done by someone who is professional in that field and must also be done with sterile equipments to prevent any infections to occur!
I cannot imagine the pain that he need to bear with just cutting his foreskin using scissors(**.).

well - assuming he's not lying to you (which is possible) then he is in great danger of infection & sepsis. without sutures, the severed skin margins will not hold together and skin may slough off & become necrotic from lack of circulation.
What you can do to help him is pray to God for mercy on this misguided man. Take him to a hospital ER ASAP - or a urologist surgeon IMMEDIATELY .
then when they're done with him - take him to psychiatrist for full mental exam.
i shudder to imagine what he did - if it's true.

Your kidding right?Oh my gosh He should go to a doctor make sure he doesnt get an infection.I cannot believe he had the nerve or pain tolerance to do this himself.Honestly i have never ever heard of someone doing this himself.How does he know he did it right?? I think this calls for a doc visit.

erm wot the ****! I was put 2 sleep when i got it done! It could get infected as the scissors probs wouldn't of been as clean as they should of been! He may not of even done it right and this could lead to more health issues! He should go 2 doc!

in some circles this is perfectly normal, check out www.bmezine.com some go as far as to chop off everything!
as your friends mental health, hey different strokes for different folks.
he should seek medical advice, bleeding infection so forth. as well as scar tissue formation. it is the last place you want restricted skin. well you can imagine why.
hope it does not look like franken-willy after it has healed up.

He may need mental and physical assistance. I'm a girl and there's no way in hell any guy I know wuold willingly cut off a piece of their own wang, especially without any anisthetic. YIKES! He needs help ASAP. That could get seriously infected.

Take your friend to a doctor as it might be infected! D.I.Y. circumcisions aren't recommended, I suggest leaving these things to the professionals.
