im sorry holly but it seems that u don't understand what mercy killing or euthanasia means.. it is the practice of terminating the life of a person or an animal because they are perceived as living an intolerable life, in a painless or minimally painful way.. when someone is suffering from illnesses and he can no longer stand the pain.. what u r are talking about is not euthanasia.. it has something to do with criminals. it's another topic my dear..

No. In this day and age NO ONE should die in pain. That's what hospice is for. The hospice team will be able to help the patient live their final days, weeks, months nearly pain free.
Hospice DOES NOT euthanize patients....just helps to make them comfortable. I would NEVER be in favor of euthanasia.....the hour of our death is in God's hands.

Why let an animal or human who is going to die anyway suffer. Recently there was a firefighter burned on over 90% of his body should he have to live in such pain, I don't think so.

yes. I want to know that if i'm terminal that I can end it my way. I have spoken to many people about this(took a poll) and the only people who don't believe in it are religious people. Those who watched someone suffer till the end all believed in it. I'm not religious and don't want someone's beliefs making this determination for me.

No, I am not in favor of that because what if their parents don't want them killed? HUH? Do you not think that if I were in a vegitative state, my mother wouldn't want to cling to every last breath I take cuz I'm still her baby boy? Think about it! So no, I am not in favor of ending a life.

Well a answer and a story !My baby sister was murdered and burned while caring a baby boy inside her .we have no one in prision or nothing yet,, everyone knows who done this, but will not talk ,they were 3 involved in her death ,we had one in jail one year, then they let him go .Im sure no shock to u to hear they let him go .She has 3 living boys that suffer her every day being gone they go to her grave alot and sit and talk with there mommy .On holidays they decorate and take gifts to her grave she was only 28 when killed it has been 5 years now and still nothing done .ok now your answer ,sounds sick and morbide but this is my wish! death is way to easy for them ,!!!I think they need to be put into a tormate room until they die of fear ,Like these 3 people I think they need to be hung by there hands and daily light them on fire alittle every day ,until they are tormented the way she was ,her death was just not fire they raped ,beat her so badly then caught the home on fire ,and burned my baby sissy to black char ,and they baby inside her was almost 6 months into delivery so he was complete and killed to .I would like to see them in a room and tourchered until they just die ,from pain and loosing there minds .im sorry if that seems harsh but I have her 8 year old son with me and he suffers daily ,speaks of mommy kim how he wants to go see her, asks me to bring her back .these 3 people walk our streets today ,law what is that ?judjest What is that ?protection what is that ?the last time I talked to her she said sis I want you to listen to this song and she played it and cried on the phone ,she said this is me and I love this song .and we played it at her service oh but that was after they sent her body away to be tested 7 months then we was allowed to lay her body to rest ,anyway her song was Only God Knows Why ----by :kid rock .listen to it that was my sissy .Ok pain is talking now .wish you the best .my email brighteyeslou@yahoo.com

No. No one should decide that another person should die. But everyone should be able to decide under what conditions they would not want to be kept alive by artificial means or not allowed to take their own lives, assuming they are mentally competent.
