You will always get dishonest people who want to make as much as possible in as little time, and for as little effort, as possible, no matter who or what they disrupt or hurt or ruin in the process.
It's up to us decent folk to be the opposite and try always to deal with people fairly.
I would have no hesitation in 'grassing-up' someone who I knew to be operating some kind of deception. (Benefit cheats and drug dealers beware!!)

I think it's always been there, but there's more bone idol people around nowadays, who seem to think they can have a great life, whilst not having to work!
My friend is a single mum, and she saw an advert in the paper for guaranteed cash before Xmas/legal work etc etc...she sent off £15 she didn't have to find out the info, and what came back was basically a chain letter system where you put ad's in shop windows...it was a total con, and she was £15 down!
There definitely should be some kind of regulations as to whether these scam's can actually exist, because some people genuinally do think they can make money from nothing. But logically, everyone should know that the only way to money and success is via hard work.

Through various forms of entertainment we have become brainwashed into thinking the 'good life' is easily obtained. Now whether or not that is done by scamming is immaterial. What has happened is a fundamental shift in people's thinking processes which have been brought about by companies offering you buy now and pay later. When I was a child, everyone saved up for what they wanted and then bought it - with the possible exception of a house - this idea that credit is good and you must borrow the money was never considered. To go into debt was deemed to be a slur on his or hers character and a sign that the individual could not run his or her life properly. Pawn shops weren't considered too bad because you were trading something - but people sidled in and out of them all the same.

I agree with you that there are far too many dishonest people out there scamming others for their own greedy ends, I was brought up the same as you, you want money then you go and earn it yourself, those who are doing these scams will be caught up with eventually, they can't have it their way forever, as what goes around comes around and when you least expect it.

there is a pedigree of planning , that goes back years, its a strategy between the banks and the gov, the idea is for the gov, to get control of who can earn and who cant, eventualy you will not be able to work if you dont agree with what you are told to agree with, if you get a wage packet with cash money in it. you have instant control of all your money and you also have control of your oppinions. Thats freedom. Eventualy you will be given a number and by everything on a card ornumber that will be branded on you so it cant be stolen. If you disagree with the policians you will lose your number, and starved into submition
to beleive what you told.hows that for a scam.

Where do you live? I know of at least 3 tips within a ten-minute drive of my house where it's free to dispose of anything (except commercial). I have dumped stuff down a big ditch (wooded hollow thing) at the end of my street - right past a "no-tipping" sign. It was only turf and soil from my garden though so I'd like to see them try to prosecute!

You were raised right. I hope there are enough people like you out there to change the way society is heading.

Somebody sold it at a discounted rate! But they managed to skim off their share first.
