Is there a doctor or veterinarian in the house? Kerry's got a severe case of hoof-in-mouth disease. Will he apologize? No, its beneath his exalted station in life to apologize. The silver on his spoon must have been cheap because its affected his brian.

Just as soon as the commander and chief Apologizes for letting the house of Saud, control his strings. As a role model for a smart military tactician our IQ level cant be all that high if we start at the top and work down to Rummy! and on and on. Gotta give the boys credit though they aren't pulling a mutiny,As Kerry would like to see however England just bailed, and last I checked Saudi Arabia is hands and feet below the Taliban in human rights violations,I.E. forced rape, incest, slavery, halftime beheading highlights,

Put it this way, if the tree from the wizard of oz ,(Kerry)did apologize ,on his knees from the highest tree fort, would, it make anybody suddenly change there view about him ?pro or con? I doubt that it would even be reported. Hip boots and slicker, gentlemen. America loves dirty laundry.
Last I checked paternity test shows were still going strong. So we will keep a Daddy drill Sargent
busy for the future. How about paying these kids some baseball type money! at least.
The press just feeds us the chosen meat.

He will find some way to weasel out through a less than responsible response. He, as so many from the left, dislike troops who volunteer to serve their country.

The truth is that those currently in the military are the most educated of any time.

Shame on Kerry!

All he had to do was stand up and say he didn't mean to demean any troops and that he sincerely apologizes to any who felt harmed by those words.

Not Kerry, apparently it is better turn it into a political fight than stand up like a real man. Those of us who have served find him contemptible.

No, because Kerry is the stupid one and is so full of hate. He is so self-righteous it is impossible for him to admit he is wrong or insensitive about anything. He'll just keep digging himself deeper until he not only destroys himself and party but also his own mental and physical health. Kerry is a very unstable and dangerous man.

When I heard Kerry's comment....I took it as a slur on George Bush. Later, he said that is exactly what it was.

Bush's cronies took advantage to try to spin that comment to make it sound like it was an insult to the troops. Now, why in the world would ANYONE do that? I am not a Kerry supporter. But, I know he is smarter than that.

And, honestly.....I did see and hear it for myself....and that is how I took him. He meant Bush.

No point in answering you all, but here goes. What Kerry tried to say, but mis spoke in the GREAT tradition of your beloved GWB, was that if you don't do well in school and get yourself smart, you will wind up getting stuck in Iraq Just like Bush is stuck in Iraq.

But have a ball, this misrepresentation of Kerry's comments is the most fun you all have had in weeks.

True.. Not a prudent comment.

But come on, we all know that the military *is* the last choice available for many young people who do not do well in school, or even socially.

It is no insult, the military advertises parents considering letting the kids join the military after looking around and seeing gangs and pregnant kids

Kerry is an arrogant snob who thinks the men and women serving in the military are stupid. He says he won't apologize.
Why is it only republicans are supposed to apologize for everything they say and arrogant dems won't ever apologize?

it is quite revealing that the republicans pounce on this misinterpretation of kerry's comments instead of defending the true reasons why american troops should be in iraq...let us hope that more and more americans will see through this deception come nov 7

He's going to have to apologize or forever be held in contempt by most of the American public for that very stupid comment.
